Dr. Gregory Goodear is a board-certified gastroenterologist. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Goodear also received a diploma in clinical tropical medicine and traveler’s health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and went on to volunteer with Doctors Without Borders for 6 months treating underserved communities in rural western Kenya.
Dr. Doctor Goodear speaks English and Spanish and enjoys caring for the Spanish-speaking population of the Lowcountry.
His patients appreciate him for taking the time to listen to their concerns. He is known for being thorough in helping his patients with their individual healthcare needs and is committed to restoring their GI health. When he is not in the office, he has a great time with his wife and his young children, a boy and a girl. They enjoy traveling, biking, and their time on the water and in the woods.
